A New Chapter, a New World of Well-being
Our Major Renovation in Spring 2025
Dear guests, dear friends of our house,
Some dreams live in our hearts for a long time. They stay with us for years, quietly growing with each idea and every vision – until the moment comes when you say: Now or never!
That’s exactly how it was for us.
With courage, great anticipation, and countless ideas, we embarked on a major project together with our good friend and project manager Werner Zimmerhofer, who has guided and advised us throughout all the years of change:
The transformation of our hotel, our wellness area, and our identity.
From the Historic Hotel Anewandter emerged the new Hotel Anewandter – with a fresh logo, a clear concept, and even more space for indulgence, relaxation, and special moments.
Together with creative minds, long-time friends, strong partners, and an amazing team, we brainstormed, sketched, revised, rethought – and finally brought everything to life. The result fills us with joy and pride:
- A modern indoor pool that invites you to dive in and dream
- A versatile sauna area with infrared sauna, steam bath, bio sauna, and classic Finnish sauna
- A bubbling outdoor whirlpool for special feel-good moments
- Our invigorating Kneipp waterfall for natural refreshment
- New relaxation rooms and a massage room for complete serenity
- And as a highlight: Our newly built Garden Villa with 7 lovingly designed rooms and suites and its own private garden – a place to let go and enjoy
As beautiful as the result is today, the path to get there was intense. It was a time full of energy, emotions, and challenges: Power outages, no internet, no water, time pressure, spontaneous plan changes – we’ve earned quite a few more grey hairs.
But what made this time so special was the togetherness. Our partner companies worked with genuine joy, found creative solutions, and went above and beyond.
Without all the hard-working professionals, our dedicated team, and the support of many dear friends, none of this would have been possible.
On 17 June 2025, literally at the last minute, we were able to reopen the hotel for you. It was close, it was exciting, but we did it. And how!
Today, we look back with a smile and, at the same time, look forward with anticipation.
