The hotel is centrally located in the village of Uttenheim in South Tyrol, which is nestled between the Puster Valley and the Tauferer Ahrn Valley. Our location provides our guests with immediate access to a very broad range of sports and leisure time activities. The tasteful, rustic atmosphere of the hotel merges wonderfully with the fashionably furnished rooms and the beautiful wellness oasis. The hunters' room offers space for unhurried get-togethers, or enjoy the relaxing Roman steam bath or the spacious gardens with a tanning meadow right by the hotel.

	The Hotel Anewandter is the ideal summer time starting point for unforgettable hiking tours through the Ahrn Valley. There is a large selection of Nordic Walking and mountain bike tours (on forest roads or bicycle paths). Cultural events such as the weekly street kitchen in Sand in Taufers and the summer festivals in the surrounding parishes are just some of the numerous offers. Horseback rides through the pristine nature provide a special adventure for our guests. The riding horses at the Anewandter farm are provided free of charge to all of our guests!





	During the winter, snow and winter sports enthusiasts perk up. Skiing, snow boarding, ice skating, snow shoe hikes, cross-country skiing and romantic sleigh rides are just a few of the numerous winter sports activities. The snow-sure ski areas which include Kronplatz (Plan de Corones), Speikboden and Klausberg accommodate beginning skiers, families with children and experts alike with their well-prepared slopes and runs. Ski schools and ski kindergartens for your little ones as well as a free ski bus shuttle (ski bus stop just a few meters from the Hotel Anewandter) are available, too.
